Part A
Students, in groups of 3-5, will review posts related to the twitter tag #posinglikeRosie, and consider the questions below. Discuss and record comments related to the topic of to Padlet (here). Work as a class to categorize any themes or ideas that may present themselves.

- What do the images of the women represented ?
- Who are the images of these women in support of? against?
- How do these images support the war effort?
- What other roles were women used for in during WW2?
- Are there representations of women like these in today's society?
Part B
Students will then explore a theme or idea generated from the above activity, or one of their own interest, relating to the role of propaganda and its effects on women workers in WW2 curating a social media story or timeline on their topic using Storify. Construction of this product will be drawn from a multitude of multimodal web resources like Twitter and Facebook. Students may create their own custom content to link ideas or present information. Finished products will be posted to twitter with the hashtag #propagandaroles for review, commenting and the link for your story uploaded to the lesson blog for assessment.
